We meet every morning in each of our care centers to plan our day. We discuss clinical and service initiatives befitting a premier provider of post-acute rehabilitation as you’d imagine. We also discuss our culture and caregivers. An important piece of that discussion is recognition. When we go around the room in our morning meeting and we discuss team members that have gone above and beyond, Jim’s name always comes up. He goes above and beyond for guests, residents, and family members. He always finds a way to say “yes.” He is kind and compassionate to everyone he encounters and embodies our core values: integrity, respect, commitment, compassion, and service to others. Jim is also a youth baseball umpire and a Sunday school teacher. We wanted to show him our appreciation in a very personal and positive way, so Susanne Whitham, Life Enrichment Director, helped coordinate having team members in every department autograph this baseball bat with sweet, personalized messages for him. Jim Mills, you are a GEM. We are grateful for you.
